The Information Systems Agency of Armenia is supporting the creation of the Armenian e-society. In leadership with the Government and the Central Bank of Armenia, our mission is to implement key standards for how public services and digital projects should be delivered. Our guiding standard is the “Digital Architecture of Armenia,” a Government-approved approach that places interoperability, security, and high-quality service delivery as its core pillars. Our team consists of technology and policy-making specialists from various sectors, and we work transparently, engaging both the public and private sectors to help Armenia realize its goal of becoming a truly electronic society.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled UX Researcher to join our team and help enhance the digital experience of citizens across Armenia. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including designers, developers, product owners, and key stakeholders—to ensure that public digital services are intuitive, user-friendly, and accessible.

Research Methodology & Planning

• Plan and execute user research using qualitative methods aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to define research objectives and approaches.

User Insights Analysis

• Analyze user data to identify behaviors, trends, and pain points.
• Synthesize research findings into clear and actionable insights that inform design decisions.

Discovery Research & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Conduct discovery research through interviews and workshops with government stakeholders, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure alignment between user needs and stakeholder expectations.

User Interviews & Citizen Engagement

• Engage with a diverse range of citizens through interviews, surveys, and focus groups.
• Ensure that insights represent the perspectives of all demographic groups and communities.

Usability Testing & Evaluation

• Plan and run usability tests to evaluate how users interact with digital products.
• Use feedback to guide iterative design improvements and enhance user satisfaction.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Work closely with designers, developers, analysts, and researchers to integrate findings into product development.
• Present research outcomes in a clear and engaging format for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices

• Stay up to date with emerging UX research trends and tools.
• Contribute to the development of internal best practices and promote a user-centered design culture.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in UX/UI design or research with a portfolio demonstrating your contributions.
• Proficiency in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or FigJam.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting research data and making design recommendations.
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities across multidisciplinary teams.
• A genuine passion for understanding users and improving their digital experiences.
