On September 3, the Information Systems Agency and the Asian Development Bank Armenia jointly organized an event titled "Data Centers as Catalysts: Unlocking Armenia's Digital and Economic Potential". The event brought together representatives from both public and private sectors to discuss the current situation and vision for data centers in Armenia.
In his speech, Nerses Yeritsyan, Director of the Information Systems Agency, emphasized the importance of choosing the best possible solutions and formats when building data centers, and creating infrastructure with a focus on security.

According to Nerses Yeritsyan, along with the digitization of services, the demand for data
centers is growing. In this context, the director of the agency also referred to the importance of active Public-Private cooperation in order to create appropriate ecosystems based on the consolidation of potential.

Nerses Yeritsyan also referred to the vision of the "Cloud First" policy and the works being carried out in the direction of its implementation.
