In the increasingly digitized world, the majority of transactions are online, documents are digital. Therefore, secure citizen identification and data storage are more important today than ever.

The Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA) has undertaken the responsibility to support the implementation of the latest digital identity standards in Armenia through the following means:

• Support for the implementation of digital identity and signature services in Armenia in accordance with international eIDAS 2.0 standards;

• Creation of the "YeSem" digital identification brand;

• Creation of the "YeSem" national single sign-on platform;

• Creation of the "YeSem" national digital signature platform.

One of the primary goals of the ISAA Digital Identification Team is to create a private and public sector ecosystem, which will ensure the implementation of the best international digital identification standards as the foundation of an open, trust-based digital society.
