The background to ‘AM-CERT’

The digital architecture of Armenia places information and cybersecurity as a core pillar of our e-society. ISAA works in partnership with the Armenian Government and private sector institutions to implement national cybersecurity capacity building, ensuring Armenia’s resilience in the face of cyber threats. AM-CERT is a core component of this architectural concept.

AM-CERT is the National CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) or CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) of Armenia. Its mission is to investigate and coordinate the response to cyber security incidents for the national critical infrastructure of Armenia. It is also a national contact point for international co-operation in the field of cybersecurity. We offer services for both public and private sector institutions, specifically:

  • Reporting tool for cybersecurity incidents and support for incidents and mitigations
  • Access to Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) from our partner organisations around the globe

Full list of services can be shared after initial contact.

  • Central coordination body for cybersecurity incidents in Armenia
  • Fast response to cyber incidents, to minimize the cost and impact of threats
  • Sharing cross-sector (CTI) cyber threat intelligence, for the mutual benefit of all involved parties.
