Armenia is entering a crucial stage in its digital transformation.

The cloud summit has commenced, bringing together heads of government agencies, policymakers, representatives of private companies, and a range of local and international partners.
The objective is singular: to discuss, design, and enhance Armenia’s cloud technologies.

On the first day of the event, the focus of participants was on issues related to strategy and policy development.
Specifically, the following topics were discussed:

• The impact of cloud technologies on economic development and the effectiveness of public administration

• The use of cloud technologies as a pillar for a data-driven public system and the development of artificial intelligence

• How current policies help address challenges related to security and digital sovereignty

• Successful experiences in the implementation of cloud strategies

The event was organized through close cooperation between the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the RA, the Information Systems Agency of Armenia, and the World Bank.

The foundation of Armenia’s modern digital state can be built through joint efforts; today, yet another significant step was taken toward making this goal a reality.
