Representatives from the Armenian government, the private sector, and civil society got together at a two-day workshop in Yerevan to strengthen cyber resilience and improve coordination in cyber crisis response.
Through interactive sessions, they explored key themes such as:
- Cyber crisis response frameworks

- Incident notification and communication mechanisms
Participants also gained valuable insights from Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security on fostering cooperation between the public and private sectors.
Lars Hennig, Deputy Head of Mission of the German Embassy in Yerevan, underlined the importance of international collaboration for enhancing cyber resilience across the world. Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, and Shant Kassardjian, Cybersecurity Director at the Information Systems Agency of Armenia welcomed the participants of the workshop.
The workshop was organised as part of the Partnership for Strengthening Cybersecurity project, commissioned by the German Federal Foreign Office, co-financed by the European Commission, and implemented by GIZ. The initiative is carried out in close cooperation between the Information systems agency of Armenia and GIZ.
