Armenia Recognized at the United Nations Public Service Forum 2025

September 02, 2025

Armenia was recognized at the United Nations Public Service Forum (UNPSF) 2025, held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, for its progress in digital transformation and citizen-centered service delivery between 2022 and 2024.

The Forum, organized by the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (UNDESA), brought together representatives from more than 100 countries to exchange best practices in innovation, service design, and public sector transformation.

Representing Armenia, Arusyak Martirosyan, Digital Transformation Delivery Lead at the Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA), presented on “Digital Government for Inclusive Service Delivery.” The presentation highlighted Armenia’s pioneering life events–based approach, which simplifies government interactions for citizens and businesses by integrating services around key milestones such as buying and selling a car, starting a business, or applying for residency.

It also emphasized the importance of building whole-of-society digital ecosystem that place citizens at the center of service design, drawing strong international attention as a scalable example aligned with the UN’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
