Digital transformation leadership as a key to success

A two-day workshop titled "Leadership in Digital Transformation" has kicked off at the Central Bank’s Dilijan Research and Training Center for the representatives of Armenian state agencies. The event is organized by the Central Bank of Armenia in collaboration with the Ministry of High-Tech Industry and the Information Systems Agency of Armenia.

The goal of the workshop is to promote the national digital agenda and to unite public sector leaders in building a digital society. Around 100 participants from various government institutions attended the event.

In his opening remarks, Central Bank Governor Martin Galstyan addressed the specific characteristics of the “cyber era,” emphasizing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders.

Gevorg Mantashyan, First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to improving public service delivery through digitization, highlighting the importance of collective effort.

Nerses Yeritsyan, Director of the Information Systems Agency, highlighted the fundamental role of digital architecture in building digital society and economy.

Speaker Andres Kütt, one of Estonia’s digital transformation leaders, presented Estonia’s experience and model of digitization, including major digital policies, data governance, interoperability, and the role of artificial intelligence in decision-making across both public and private sectors. He also discussed cybersecurity strategies, eID policies, legal frameworks, and the importance of digital mindset shifts and innovation-driven approaches.
