About Us

The Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA) is supporting the creation of the Armenian e-society. In collaboration with the Government and the Central Bank of Armenia, our mission is to implement key standards for how public services and digital projects should be delivered. About You

The Information Systems Agency of Armenia (ISAA) is looking for a Graphic Designer to join the Strategic Communication Department. 

In this role, you will help translate complex digital transformation initiatives into clear, engaging, and accessible visual materials. You will support ISAA’s communication efforts and contribute to presenting key digital initiatives, projects, and reforms in a way that is easy to understand for different audiences. 

Job Responsibilities

 
  • Design visual materials for institutional communication, publications, and digital platforms.
  • Develop infographics and visual explanations for complex digital and technical topics.
  • Support the design of presentations, reports, and communication materials.
  • Contribute to visual materials for events, campaigns, and public outreach initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain visual identity elements, templates, and design guidelines.
  • Support branding of institutional materials, events, and campaigns.
  • Design layouts for reports, one-pagers, guidelines, and official publications.
  • Ensure consistency of visual style across all communication channels.
  • Design materials for conferences, workshops, and public events.
  • Prepare visuals for social media, website, and public announcements.
  • Clearly explain complex design concepts and ideas to teams or stakeholders outside of the design field.
  • Document and communicate design decisions, risks, and unresolved issues.
  • Build consensus around design approaches and challenge assumptions where necessary.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including developers, product managers, researchers, and policy teams.
  • Support teams in understanding the value of user-centered design.
  • Provide design support to other departments when needed (HR, technical teams, policy units, etc.) for announcements, guides, presentations, and internal materials.
  • Ensure visual materials follow accessibility and usability principles.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility and usability standards.
  • Use research, analytics, and user insights to inform design decisions.
  • Translate complex information into clear visual formats for different audiences.
  • Prepare draft layouts, mockups, and visual concepts for review and improvement.
  • Iterate and improve designs based on feedback, research, and testing.
  • Adapt designs quickly to changing requirements or priorities.
  • Identify and develop new design patterns and visual components. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 3–5+ years of professional experience in graphic design, digital design, or visual communication.
  • Experience designing infographics, publications, and presentation materials.
  • Experience working in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Ability to clearly present and justify design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of user experience, accessibility, and usability principles.
  • Ability to interpret research, analytics, and user insights to improve design solutions.
  • Experience facilitating design discussions and collaborative sessions with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Figma
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Experience creating infographics, digital visuals, and presentation materials
  • Experience using AI-assisted design tools to support visual content creation is an advantage.
