About You
The Junior Procurement Specialist supports the procurement function by assisting in the planning, coordination, documentation, and implementation of procurement activities. The role contributes to ensuring timely, transparent, and cost-effective acquisition of goods, services, and works, while offering opportunities for professional development in the procurement field.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and processing of procurement requests, ensuring completeness and compliance with internal procedures.
- Support the preparation of procurement documentation.
- Assist in drafting and organizing technical and commercial procurement documentation.
- Coordinate communication with vendors, including requests for clarifications and support during bid submission processes.
- Support bid and proposal evaluation processes by preparing comparison tables and assisting evaluation committees.
- Assist in contract preparation, administrative follow-up, and documentation in line with approved procurement decisions.
- Maintain accurate and well-organized procurement records to ensure transparency․
- Support vendor registration and maintenance of supplier databases.
- Assist in monitoring contract implementation, delivery timelines, and documentation.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, ethical standards, and applicable legal frameworks.
- Perform other procurement-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or final-year student) in Economics, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in procurement, administration, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of procurement principles and procedures.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- knowledge of Armenian and English languages.
- High ethical standards and integrity.
- Willingness to learn and develop procurement-related skills.
- Ability to work under supervision and meet deadlines.
- Commitment to transparency, fairness, and value for money.
