The Information Systems Agency of Armenia is supporting the creation of the Armenian e-society. As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining secure and resilient infrastructure and services to enable effective security operations, threat intelligence processing, and incident response.

• Deploy and maintain Linux- and Docker-based services.
• Support core infrastructure (reverse proxy, TLS, load balancing, networking).
• Implement backup, recovery, hardening, and secure access.
• Apply secrets management, patching, and vulnerability management.
• Integrate security tools into pipelines (scanning and controls).
• Support logging, auditing, and assist in incident investigations․
• Implement monitoring, dashboards, and alerts.
• Address performance/availability issues and optimize configurations.
• Deploy and operate MISP, OpenCTI, and similar cybersecurity tools.
• Manage APIs/integrations and onboard threat feeds.
• Develop automation scripts aligned to use cases and playbooks.
• Configure encryption, access control, and container security.
• Improve alert parsing, integration of new technologies, and support security policies.

• 2+ years of Linux administration (Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS, Alma or similar).
• Hands-on experience with Docker, including image building, docker-compose, and performance optimization.
• Automation using configuration management tools.
• Networking understanding: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP(S), reverse proxy, VPN concepts.
• Proficiency in Bash and basic Python (scripting, working with APIs, automation).
• Understanding of DevSecOps principles: least privilege, secrets management, patching, vulnerability management.
• Experience with firewalls, IDS, or SIEM/ELK processing.
• Experience with Elasticsearch/Opensearch will be preferable.
• Familiarity with endpoint security solutions.
• Knowledge of containerized environments, secrets vaults, and secure access.
• Experience with VMware ESX or similar virtualized environments.
• Awareness of cybersecurity trends and attack techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operations.
• Strong analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Openness to learn new solution platforms and provide team support.
• Collaborative mindset, able to translate operational needs into technical solutions.
