Interoperability
Interoperability is one of the key directions of the Information Systems Agency of Armenia, the efforts of which are aimed at building and improving digital infrastructure of Armenia.
The purpose of interoperability is to create the prerequisites for effective and seamless cooperation between government agencies and their systems through effective data management and access.
Interoperability between the RA government and other government agencies is now facilitated by "Ekeng" CJSC. The ISAA Data Management and Interoperability team is developing data processing methodologies, rules, and guidelines. Additionally, in collaboration with 'Ekeng' CJSC, the team is enhancing the existing interoperability systems to align them with international best practices.
Effective data management and interoperability rely on implementing practical solutions based on the 'once-only' and 'cloud-first' principles. The methodology of data mapping and classification was approved by the Information Systems Management Board. Its purpose is to lay the groundwork for developing and implementing data and service catalogs, ensuring seamless and data-driven management of services, and supporting the smooth operation of the National Service Platform.
