In this role, you will work alongside designers, developers, product owners and stakeholders to make sure that the services we develop are not only functional but also user-friendly and accessible. Job responsibilities
As a UX Researcher, you will be responsible for:

Research Methodology & Planning: You’ll apply qualitative research methods to gather insights and help define the project’s direction. You’ll work closely with our team to plan and execute user research that fits within our goals and timelines.

User Insights Analysis: Dive deep into user data to uncover trends, behaviors, and pain points. You’ll synthesize your findings into clear recommendations that will directly influence design decisions and improve the user experience.

Discovery Research & Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with key stakeholders-including ministries and vendors to ensure we’re developing products that meet everyone’s needs. You’ll conduct in-depth interviews and workshops to align expectations and bring user-centered principles to life.

User Interviews & Interaction with Citizens: You’ll connect with citizens from all walks of life, conducting interviews, surveys, and focus groups to understand their needs. Your research will ensure that the voices of all users are heard, from diverse backgrounds and demographics.

Usability Testing & Evaluation: You’ll conduct usability tests to ensure our digital products are easy to use and solve real problems. By gathering user feedback and working with the design team, you'll help make continuous improvements to the user experience.

Collaboration & Reporting: Work alongside designers, developers, researchers, and data analysts teams to ensure research findings are integrated into the product development process. You’ll communicate insights in engaging reports and presentations that help everyone understand the user’s perspective.

Continuous Improvement & Best Practices: Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with the latest trends in UX research. You’ll contribute to the development of best practices and a culture focused on user-centered design within our team.
Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio that highlights both your research and design work.
- You should be proficient in tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Miro, or FigJam to create wireframes, prototypes, and user journey maps. You’ll also need solid communication and collaboration skills to present your findings to both technical and non-technical teams.
- Strong analytical abilities to interpret user data and use that information to refine and improve designs.
- Above all, you should have a deep passion for understanding users and improving their digital experiences.
