June 19, 2025

The international CyberGEN 2025 international conference launched in Dilijan on June 16, continuing for the fourth year as a key platform bringing together leading cybersecurity specialists, as well as representatives from both the public and private sectors, to address global challenges and foster collaboration for a secure digital future.

The event is held within the framework of Cybersecurity Week 2025 and is organized through the joint efforts of the Central Bank of Armenia, the Information Systems Agency of Armenia, the Microsoft Innovation Center, the Enterprise Incubator Foundation (EIF), and Cyhub Armenia cybersecurity initiative.

The main objective of the conference is to promote the engagement of young professionals in the cybersecurity field, enhance their expertise, build practical skills and create opportunities for cooperation across sectors.

In his opening remarks, Central Bank Governor Mr. Martin Galstyan noted: “Over the past four years, CyberGEN has grown from a national dialogue into a regional and international platform, that brings together some of the brightest minds in cybersecurity, finance, regulation, and technology, to discuss and address some of the most pressing cybersecurity challenges of today and tomorrow”.

Director of the Information Systems Agency, Mr. Nerses Yeritsyan, stressed the importance of anticipating future challenges: “As we look to the future, we recognize the need to be innovative. The pace of technological change demands readiness not only for today’s challenges, but for tomorrow’s needs. We see the potential impacts of artificial intelligence and innovative technologies to ensure that Armenia's digital environment is flexible, reliable, and secure.”

The CyberGEN 2025 agenda focuses on in-depth discussions and hands-on activities aimed at unlocking participants’ potential and strengthening their professional capabilities. Attendees will take part in thematic sessions related to the risks of AI and advanced technologies, as well as in interactive simulations and incident response exercises.

The event will also feature a Bug Bounty program, where cybersecurity professionals will be encouraged to detect vulnerabilities in digital systems, contributing to the improvement of cybersecurity infrastructure.
